These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DeliverGuard.
By using DeliverGuard you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
DeliverGuard provides software tools designed to analyze restaurant delivery platform and POS transaction data to assist with reconciliation and financial review.
DeliverGuard does not provide accounting, legal, or financial advisory services.
2. Accounts
Users may be required to create an account to access certain features.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
3. Data Integrations
Users may connect DeliverGuard to third‑party systems including POS systems, delivery platforms, financial data providers, and accounting systems (QuickBooks Online).
By connecting these services, users authorize DeliverGuard to retrieve and process data required to operate the service.
3a. QuickBooks Online integration
DeliverGuard’s QuickBooks Online integration is read‑only. DeliverGuard does not, and will not, create, update, or delete records in your QuickBooks Online company file.
By connecting QuickBooks Online, you acknowledge that:
- DeliverGuard relies entirely on the data in your QuickBooks file as the source of truth and is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or categorisation of that data.
- Reconciliation findings are informational only and do not constitute accounting, tax, or financial advice.
- You retain full control over the connection and may disconnect at any time from either DeliverGuard or QuickBooks Online.
4. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
- misuse the service
- attempt to access unauthorized systems
- reverse engineer or exploit the platform
- use DeliverGuard for unlawful purposes
5. Accuracy Disclaimer
DeliverGuard attempts to provide helpful reconciliation insights but does not guarantee:
- financial accuracy
- completeness of data
- identification of all discrepancies
All reports are provided for informational purposes only.
Users are responsible for verifying financial information independently.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeliverGuard and its operators shall not be liable for:
- financial losses
- accounting errors
- missed discrepancies
- indirect or consequential damages
Use of the service is at your own risk.
7. Termination
DeliverGuard may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Users may cancel their accounts at any time.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
